February 16 - 22Out with the old…

What are the chances of a 🌑solar eclipse and the Saturn-Neptune conjunction taking place within days of each other. And a 🌑solar eclipse in square to unpredictable Uranus. Rare indeed. It’s a recipe for events of the most profound kind.

Certainly, if you have a December birthday or planets and points from zero to four of the ♑cardinal signs (♑Capricorn, ♈Aries, ♎Libra and ♋Cancer) what is happening in this part of 2026 amounts to a sea-change. It can be difficult for ♑Capricorn to reject the old and embrace the new, but you may have little choice other than to do so now.

February 9 - 15Act on your feelings.

Capricorns are the realists of the zodiac, which doesn’t mean you haven’t got a romantic bone in your body. On the contrary, your feelings run deep and you are highly susceptible to falling in love. That you act on those feelings, however, is another matter altogether.

With Saturn moving to the base of your chart on Saturday, you are beginning a period when the desire to put down roots or make them stronger becomes ever more pressing. With this in mind, if you’ve found someone special now is the time to let them know just how special they are.

February 2 - 8Don’t be stuck in the past.

It may seem as if events are happening too quickly, allowing you little time to absorb them, but this does not necessarily mean you cannot make good decisions. A lot of what is taking place now is the result of months, if not years, of avoidance – keeping a situation going even though it’s not working or compromising your needs, desires and gifts – so although you may feel temporarily at sea, once you’ve got behind forging a new way forward, you’ll be fine.

Capricorn is a traditionalist; you value those things that have served you well, however it is time to embrace the new and the different and in the process experience liberation.

Jan 26 - Feb 1Rising to the occasion.

This is the second week in a row in which the stakes have rarely been higher, whether in regard to national and global events or those in your own life. This week, Mars hooks up to Pluto, and with a 🌕full moon to come (Sunday), what happens at this time could and should mark the end of a chapter.

Finances are in the frame for many ♑Capricorns, whether you’re faced with unexpected expenditure or dealing with financial institutions, but whatever represents a mountain to climb, climb it you will. Sometimes you have to be ruthless; sometimes tough love is the only way.

January 19 - 27Try another route.

It’s often at this period of the year that we lose our enthusiasm for the ideas we had over the holidays, but this is the moment for a reboot. Maybe unexpected developments have got in the way of implementing your plans or perhaps everything just seems too hard, but the ♑Capricorn Goat doesn’t get deterred simply because there are obstacles in the way.

Double down on your ambitions and even though a route may have run out or it seems you lack the necessary resources, there will be a way through. Don’t get caught up in what-might-have-been but on what is to come.

January 12 - 18Taking charge.

You’re either having the time of your life or feeling bruised and bewildered over the speed and power of events. All things must change, but must they change so quickly and with such force? Then again, you may have nothing of significance going on in your life but you are witnessing extraordinary events in other people’s lives.

Ideally, this would be a good time to deal with situations that you are concerned about before they become truly difficult to manage. And by the same token if you’re ready to launch one of your ships, do it with confidence and in style.

January 5 - 11When is too much, too much?

With Jupiter in charge of cosmic affairs, the tempo is upbeat and the pace, allegro vivace! Especially if it is your birthday, these positive influences will not only influence the week’s events but the entire year. Clearly, it’s not going to be one long ode to joy, but there will be some terrific moments, and what you set in motion should go from strength to strength.

The only problem with this forecast is that a situation you do not want to get any bigger can also grow. With this in mind, do not throw good money after bad, so to speak. If, despite all your efforts and patience, something is not improving, maybe it’s time to say enough is enough.

Dec 29 - Jan 4Nailing it.

Thursday may be the start of a new year but it seems you have some settling up to do. Saturday’s 🌕full moon cuts across the relationship axis, making it the perfect time to put your signature to something that you hope will last a lifetime or end a long-standing endeavour. And even if Saturday comes and goes with nothing remotely done and dusted, over the next two weeks, closure and completion in some form should take place.

2026 is going to be a year of great import, so getting behind situations you have left lingering for far too long is mandatory if you are to fulfil its promise.

February 16 - 22Far out.

🌑Eclipses happen every year, usually on four occasions, but this doesn’t make them old hat: they’re always game-changers. However, Tuesday’s 🌑solar eclipse is squaring Uranus, the revolutionary, which will have the added effect of presiding over events that occur suddenly and unexpectedly.

Now these events could be fantastic, even so, they will bring controversy and upheaval in their wake. Taking place in your ninth solar house, distant lands and people living in far-away places may figure in the scenario. Embrace the new but only if you have a back-up plan.

February 9 - 15Feel the love.

On Tuesday, Venus moves to the top of your chart where she will help you onward and upward until early March. Since Venus is the planet of love, romance could be the beneficiary of her blessings, but over the course of the next four weeks there should be at least one instance when you feel appreciated for your efforts and talents. And in some cases, there will be promotion or some other welcome development.

On Saturday, Saturn moves into the eleventh house where for the coming two-plus years collaborations of all kinds will be the focus for growth, albeit through some hard lessons.

February 2 - 8The veil is lifted.

After a period during which you may have encountered opposition and experienced stumbling blocks, shifts are beginning to happen. The biggest shift may well occur in your own mind: suddenly you are seeing situations in a new light and routes around an impasse are beginning to appear.

On the other hand, you may find that someone is taking matters into their own hands or that a perfectly satisfactory situation is in trouble. Seeing the light is the great gift Uranus brings: what you cannot guarantee is that you’ll be thrilled with what you’re looking at.

Jan 26 - Feb 1Everything, except the universe, has its limits.

That famous quote – the more things change, the more they stay the same – does not apply at the moment. Things are changing and they will never be the same again. In some ways, this may well be precisely what you want: it is time to put the past behind you and focus on building a new future, but for some ♊Geminis this is a difficult time and those things that are ending appear to be undermining you and your prospects.

Sunday’s 🌕full moon cuts across the axis of travel and communications, reinforcing the theme of the end of a journey. It is time to pause and reflect before deciding on your next move.

January 19 - 27Dig deep.

There is no way to skim lightly over issues that arise at this time. Situations have many layers and you’ll need to dig deep to discover all that lies within them. You may already know why this mid-to-end period of January is important and that your life will change because of the steps you will be taking, but if everything appears to be running like clockwork, there could be something you’re missing.

This is a time of great change for the world, and one way or another, everyone will be affected. It is both the best of times and the worst of times.

January 12 - 18Talking the talk.

Talking the talk and walking the walk are both recommended under these far-ranging influences. The start to 2026 is all about making tracks and getting projects off the ground as soon as possible. Once we get to the second half of January, it’s going to be a lot more challenging to meet your objectives. Not impossible. Just more challenging.

Finances are still in the mainframe, and if you’re not making the most of the January sales, putting in new financial structures and dealing with monetary problems is advised. Sunday’s 🌑new moon points to a welcome offer or gift before the end of the month.

January 5 - 11Feel the wind in your sails,

After the great Christmas extravaganza comes the reckoning. It’s time to do the sums and address the excesses of the season. The axis of finance and self-worth is in the mainframe, bringing some ♊Geminis great good news and growing their money tree while others may need to perform some financial gymnastics to get things back in balance.

By and large, these are positive influences so even if you feel overwhelmed by what lies ahead, with Jupiter in the mix, you have a tailwind to help you reach the finishing post.

Dec 29 - Jan 4Onward and starward.

The year goes out on a Neptune-Saturn note, which suggests that regardless of the celebrations you may or may not have planned, there is a sense of making the best of it. It may be difficult to see quite where current situations are leading, and the best way forward could be to put in place those things you know for sure and leave a lot of wiggle room for everything else.

Saturday’s 🌕full moon, like all 🌕full moons, inspires closure and completion, and with Jupiter close by, the potential for happy endings is high. Onward and starward!
