Your world is about to tilt in a new direction, and it all may be quite exciting. This month there’s lots of emphasis on distant travel, love and commitment, business assignments, and money made, borrowed, or managed. In case you thought this would be a sleepy little month, think again.
There is headline news in astrological circles this month because Uranus, the planet of surprise, is changing signs on July 7 and moving into ♊Gemini, possibly for the first time in your lifetime. The planet of unexpected developments has not been in ♊Gemini since 1941 to 1949. Uranus takes 84 years to revolve around the Sun, spending seven years in each sign.
Until now, you have hosted Uranus in ♉Taurus and your truelove sector (fifth house) from May 15, 2018, until July 7 of this month. Uranus will now move into your work-a-day sector (sixth house) as a preview of what is to come in more established, permanent form next year. This year Uranus will stay in your work assignment sector from July 7 to November 7 to give you an idea of what to expect in the coming seven years.
After November 7 this year, Uranus will slip back into ♉Taurus to make a long goodbye in your sector of love, children, and creativity. On April 25, 2026, Uranus will go back to your daily assignment sector for the next seven years (until May 22, 2033).
Think back over the past seven years. How did you like hosting such an unpredictable planet in your love sector? You may have enjoyed the excitement of meeting new people and dating to find your one truelove. Or you may have found love came on quickly but puffed out just as fast. It’s possible that romance brought too much drama, and you wished that your love life would be calmer—it will be very soon.
Uranus is a volatile planet, so its journey through ♉Taurus might have been a roller coaster ride. This same house rules children, so you may have become pregnant (possibly by surprise), and if you had the baby, you unexpectedly learned the joys of parenthood while you eased into your new role. The readers who will enjoy Uranus’ retreat into his final days of ♉Taurus will be those born at the end of their sign, with birthdays from January 17 to January 19. (♉Taurus is an earth sign like yours, so it is very compatible.)
While Uranus was in ♉Taurus and your fifth house over the past seven years, it’s possible that you developed a talent you didn’t know you had. You may have blossomed into a great home chef or a sophisticated photographer or filmmaker. Perhaps you tried your hand at writing poetry and gained confidence from others. You may have started to write songs or learned to play a musical instrument. The possibilities were endless, and you can still work on your creativity from November 2025 to April 2026. Any talent you developed will stay with you forever—it will not leave when Uranus takes a bow.
In summary, you will get one final chance to experience Uranus in ♉Taurus in your lifetime from November 7, 2025, to April 25, 2026.
How will life be with Uranus in your sixth house? It’s very possible that it will be easier. The sixth house is a “cadent” house, which means that any planet moving through that house is more muted compared to where it had been. It is more easily handled.
The sixth house rules your daily routine, the work that comes across your desk, the tools you use to get your work done, and the headquarters where you go to work. (The sixth house does not rule the home office, however, as that is covered by your fourth house, the home and family sector). Your sixth house also rules the people who report to you.
In coming years, you will find your workflow to be uneven—feast or famine. It might be that you are working in a seasonal business or have your own business. Or you may be involved with a profession that involves a high degree of creativity. You will experience times when work comes through your window like a meteorite, and then suddenly you’re checking the Wi-Fi to see if it still works because business has been so quiet. If you are self-employed, you can control the flow somewhat if you advertise and self-promote on social media.
Uranus’ purpose is to make us all more flexible and resourceful. Uranus reminds us that we cannot plan or control everything in life. Uranus keeps us on our toes. Having some surprise in life is good, don’t you agree? Of course, we have to take the good surprises along with the not-so-good ones. I still feel life would be dreary with absolutely no surprises at all. When Uranus makes a good aspect to other planets, the chances are the news will be welcome
Here is something to consider: I have never seen all the outer planets—the ones that set up the big themes in life—change signs all in one year. Pluto is now firmly in ♒Aquarius for the coming 20 years (it left ♑Capricorn after 16 years last November).
Neptune has moved into fire-sign ♈Aries for the coming 14 years. (Air and fire blend beautifully—air feeds fire to make it burn more brightly and energetically.) Saturn has also moved to fire-sign ♈Aries for the coming nearly three years.
Jupiter was the little black sheep by moving into ♋Cancer last month on June 9, a water sign that Jupiter “likes” to be in. Jupiter is considered exalted there, and this placement allows you to absorb his benefits easily. However, even Jupiter will move to a fire sign next year when it moves to ♌Leo on June 30, 2026, to stay until July 27, 2027.
That means ALL the outer planets will be in fire or air signs. When you have all five of the big “board of director” outer planets in sync with one another, the outcome should be a happy one. Everyone has fire and air signs in their chart, so those houses will light up.
Now let’s look at the other parts of the month that are bringing news. Wedding bells were ringing for many ♑Capricorns late last month when a crowd of happy celestial bodies filled your seventh house of marriage and committed business partnerships. The 🌑new moon in ♋Cancer at 4 degrees on June 25 set things in motion in the days that followed. Some ♑Capricorns got engaged, and others may have hired a business expert to help them get ahead. In both cases the agreement was signed with a contract.
I loved the June 25 🌑new moon last month, and it will continue to strongly influence you in early July. Jupiter just moved into ♋Cancer in your seventh house of marriage, making June 9, 2025, to June 30, 2026 (one year later), extremely favored for marriage and forming new business alliances. That 🌑new moon was unusual because Jupiter was sandwiched with the Sun and 🌑new moon quite tightly in your seventh house of marriage. A 🌑new moon sets off a brilliant influence that can last for nearly six months.
Furthermore, the action planet Mars was in ♍Virgo (a perfect place for you) and contacted the trio in ♋Cancer (Jupiter, the 🌑new moon, and the Sun), which meant actions would lead to a happy result.
Now let’s move to this month’s 🌕full moon. After thinking about your partner, you will focus on your own needs during the 🌕full moon in ♑Capricorn, 19 degrees, on July 10. A 🌕full moon in ♑your own sign will bring something of great importance to culmination.
Again, action Mars will send a strong, positive beam to that 🌕full moon from his place in ♍Virgo. You may be on a glorious overseas trip. At the 🌕full moon, begin getting ready to come home. Before you do, you are likely to have a special occasion dinner to celebrate your wonderful time away. If this is a honeymoon, I can only imagine it will be even more dazzling. Mars will also send blessings to the Sun in your partnership sector, so you truly have a wonderful chart for making a commitment of any kind.
Mercury will go retrograde in your financial sector (♌Leo) on July 18 until August 10, so you would be wise to get all your most important tasks done early in the month and well in advance of the day Mercury turns (July 18). Hold off on buying any electronic items—computers, smart phones, tablets, a TV, or even a car. Any items with moving parts are ruled by Mercury (and those with an electronic chip, too).
Before the month heads to an end, we have a 🌑new moon on July 24 in ♌Leo, 2 degrees. This 🌑new moon will light your financial eighth house, and there are strong indications you may be interested in buying real estate, investing in new furniture, or renovating your current property at this time. Whatever is happening, you seem to need money to fund your idea, and a bank or other lender would be happy to comply. If you are young and renting your first apartment, you may need a loan from your parents to put down the full deposit.
It is alternatively possible that you may need money to help a family member, such as a parent or one of your children. You will get precisely what you need, in any case.
I say this because Saturn is currently in your fourth house of home and family and will send a beautiful vibration to the Sun and 🌑new moon in your eighth house of other people’s money. You may be applying for a mortgage to buy a house, or you might be in the process of selling property. Saturn is your ruler, so it is given more weight than other planets in your chart, and it makes this 🌑new moon truly a glorious one for you.
Neptune is traveling with Saturn and will offer his gifts of imagination to you. If you are working on refreshing or redecorating your space, Neptune will give you all the loveliest ideas to make your space authentically your own.
Neptune rules the bodies of water in the world, so now that Neptune has moved into your home sector, check to make sure the plumbing of any house you buy or rent is solid and that your region is not known for flooding or very heavy snowfalls. You will need to have an extra rider for water damage for your homeowner or renter’s insurance, just in case. This is why we study astrology—to always be prepared ahead of time.
You will enter July in high spirits. The 🌑new moon last month on June 25 was brilliantly lit by a conjunction with good-fortune Jupiter. If you have been dating seriously, you may have become engaged or married, and if so, it was a divine time to have done so. Do you know the lyrics from the song Aquarius” from the musical Hair?—“When the 🌑moon is in the seventh house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars, then…love will steer the stars”. This is precisely what you had going on in your chart in late June into early July. Can you imagine anything better?
If you are already married, your relationship can now enter a new chapter of warmth and affection. You can plan a new future together, so go ahead and paint your dream in big, bold colors. Your partner will be on the same page as you, and they’ll be every bit as optimistic. Financially, with Jupiter conjunct the Sun, your outlook for seeing quite a generous amount of money come in is excellent, too. (You may have seen this at the end of June, or you soon will in July.)
The only wrinkle in this pretty picture might be a problem with finding suitable housing—you may have to allow more time or possibly expand your budget to find the right space. If this is the obstacle you face, you are likely to have better luck in October. If this possibility does not resonate with you, it may be that you will be concerned about a family member’s well-being. Alternatively, a family member may not be in favor of your impending marriage, but let’s hope that’s not the case either.
If you are not getting married or interested in marriage right now, you may be joining forces with a business partner or colleague. If so, the superb star power of last month’s 🌑new moon on June 25 will follow you in the weeks ahead, likely bringing you a very prosperous union where both parties can work to mutual benefit.
The July 10 🌕full moon could be a major moment for you, for it will be the only 🌕full moon of the year in ♑Capricorn. This 🌕full moon will bring you in close touch with your deepest emotions and desires. 🌕full moons are known to bring clarity and closure. This 🌕full moon will be beautifully oriented to Mars in your distant travel house, so you may be taking a glorious trip with your partner—a honeymoon or second honeymoon perhaps? At the same time, you may have better luck if you’re searching for a new place to live or want to improve your present living quarters. In that case, continue looking for your new space, for you may be closer to your dream home situation than you think. If nothing shows up now, October will be lucky for you.
The move of Uranus into ♊Gemini for the first time since 1941 to 1949 is headline news. Uranus will move out of your romance sector from July 7 to November 7 and into your work-a-day project sector during that time. You will start to get unusual projects that will provide a good deal of room for your creative input. Your romantic life will start to settle down and become calmer, less dramatic, and a tad more predictable—all changes you will welcome.
From November 7, 2025, until April 25, 2026, Uranus will be back to your love and romance sector one last time. If you are not attached, plan to socialize at that time. ♑Capricorns who have birthdays that fall between January 17 and January 19 will be given extra electric sparkle from Uranus in his last degrees of ♉Taurus.
Next year Uranus will permanently move into ♊Gemini on April 25, 2026, to stay until May 22, 2033, and changes in your day-to-day work will become quite vibrant. Considering Pluto’s position, you will have a good chance to make impressive money from those projects, too.
Mercury will go retrograde this month on July 18 until August 10. If you need an electronic item, it would be best to hold off until well after the retrograde is over to buy any mechanical or electronic machine—that includes holding off on buying a car.
At the end of July, the 🌑new moon on July 24 in ♌Leo will open a door for you to make more money. You seem to be interested in funding a big idea, most likely for something related to real estate (the money could also be to help a family member). Your actions will lead to a strong sense of security, and there’s a great chance that you will love where you live and want to stay there a long time.
There is a sticky aspect at this 🌑new moon, however, for that 🌑new moon will bring an opposition from Pluto. You may have to negotiate your deal cleverly. There are a plethora of books on negotiating, so pick up one to get some pointers. Know what is important to your VIP, seller, landlord, client, or venture capitalist—their goals may not be the same as yours. If you are in talks about the purchase of a house, the same rules apply—you will need to negotiate the price, but even so, know that you are under splendid aspects, so everything should come out sunny-side up.
This will be a big month for you because one of the titans of the solar system, Uranus, the thoroughly nontraditional planet of independence, innovation, rebellion, freedom, originality, chaos, and mathematical and scientific creativity will move into ♊Gemini for the first time since 1941 to 1949.
Uranus will enter ♊Gemini on July 7 but will only stay four months, until November 7. Uranus will be back, of course, for this year is meant to be a small window to show you what is to come and to help you adjust to having this major planet in ♊your sign. Uranus will be back to ♊Gemini on April 25, 2026, to stay seven years, until May 22, 2033. It does not matter if you were born a ♊Gemini or have ♊Gemini rising—you will undergo some exciting changes, and most will be initiated by you.
Over the past seven years you have hosted Uranus in heavy earth-sign ♉Taurus and your twelfth house. The twelfth sector rules activities that are hidden and done behind closed doors, so this has kept you on the sidelines, out of the spotlight. For example, if you are a writer (many ♊Gemini are talented communicators), you have been hidden behind your computer, writing or editing one story after another, which has become something you may have grown used to doing. Now, however, you will move out of the shadows and into the spotlight. People will see you and learn all about who you are.
During the seven years to come, you may update your appearance and start to dress differently. You might even change your name, whether legally, through marriage, or by adopting a pen name. Your lifestyle could evolve into one that’s quite different and possibly more social. You may switch up the type of work you do.
For ♊Gemini, the ninth house of foreign people and places is tied to Uranus, so you might move to a very different region of your country or relocate to an international city. You may travel internationally more often, and you might find that relationships with foreign people (in your country or in theirs) are lucky for you. The publishing or broadcasting industries will likely be prominent in your life. One way or another, as Uranus draws close to the degrees of the Sun of your birth, you may surprise your friends and family with one or more courageous decisions that you will announce.
In short, during the seven years to come, you will evolve into the person who is truly “you.” You will feel liberated, confident, and sure about your decisions as you move forward. ♊Gemini born in the first days of the sign, from May 20 to May 23, will be the first to feel Uranus' influence.
Last month I spoke about how I had never seen so many outer planets—literally all of them—change signs within a matter of eight months. Pluto has now moved to air-sign ♒Aquarius (for 20 years), Neptune is in fire-sign ♈Aries (for 14 years), Uranus is entering air-sign ♊Gemini (for seven years), and Saturn is in fire-sign ♈Aries (for nearly three years). Most importantly, you will break the bonds with anyone or anything that has held you back or hemmed you in. You are so done with feeling boxed in without freedom of choice.
Although Jupiter has moved into water-sign ♋Cancer, a great spot for you, next year on June 30, 2026, Jupiter will move into ♌Leo and join the crowd in fire and air. Air feeds fire and makes it burn more brightly. We are moving away from the era of earth (which smothered you while Uranus has been in ♉Taurus) and water, and you will be perfectly positioned to fit in with the new coming epoch.
You had a gorgeous 🌑new moon in ♊Gemini on May 26, and I feel that was the official start of 2025. The influence from that 🌑new moon started to move quickly forward. The actions you took after May 26 into early June were important—you were sowing potent seeds.
Now with good-fortune Jupiter moving into the second gestation of its cycle, when Jupiter moved to ♋Cancer on June 9, you will start to see the financial reward of your hard work. The coming year, beginning last month, from June 9, 2025, to June 30, 2026 (next year), could easily be the most prosperous period of your life. Don’t run to buy a lottery ticket or to a roulette table in Las Vegas—the cash you’ll see will be money you will have earned. You are due for quite a harvest.
To see the largesse of your financial bounty, you need a favorable 🌑new moon, and fortunately, that 🌑new moon appeared last month on June 25, just before the start of July. That 🌑new moon was in ♋Cancer at 4 degrees, and it will continue to influence you for months, but especially during the first 10 days of July. That 🌑new moon was extraordinary because it had something rarely seen—Jupiter was tightly packaged with the Sun and 🌑new moon, and all three were together in ♋Cancer. Wow, that is as good as it gets for launching a new venture that has large profit potential.
The 🌑moon is the natural ruler of your earned income house, and the Sun is the natural ruler of your communication sector. The two were linked at that 🌑new moon, so it seems your talent for listening, speaking, and sharing information will likely be the source of your bounty.
Jupiter “likes” to be in ♋Cancer because it can express its goodness most easily there, the reason the ancient astrologers called this placement “exalted.” An exalted planet is a strong one and is able to deliver its good fortune to you easily. You have to be part of this trend by taking actions and showing the universe your intent. Saturn is in a challenging position, so while you will have to work hard, your enthusiasm will carry you forward. You will find various ways to be creative with the project too, and that will set you head and shoulders above the rest.
Last year, starting in late May 2024, you entered your Emerald Year when Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, moved into ♊Gemini for the first time in 12 years. Jupiter exited ♊your sign last month on June 9 but is now poised to give you the financial compensation you deserve. In short, the universe is about to make a correction for you.
July continues this emphasis on money with the July 10 🌕full moon in ♑Capricorn at 19 degrees. You may pay off a large bill or finally receive the fee you had been waiting to see. If you have been negotiating a court case or divorce, this favorable 🌕full moon could allow you to end negotiations and make a settlement. Your home life appears to be part of this 🌕full moon because Mars (in ♍Virgo and your fourth house of home) will be in elegant angle to this 🌕full moon (a trine), so you may be paying off your contractor or mortgage or be approved for a new mortgage or apartment rental.
The 🌕full moon of July 10 in ♑Capricorn will light your eighth house of other people’s money, so this would be an ideal time to see an estate planner and estate lawyer to write your will (just to have it done) and to meet with your financial advisor to make sure your portfolio is performing well.
The 🌑new moon of July 24 at 2 degrees ♌Leo will light up your communications sector (third house), so you may be deep in planning your new book, smartphone app, or digital game or working on a TV story you are producing, as some examples.
Overall, this 🌑new moon's aspects will be superb. This month’s 🌑new moon on July 24 will have strong support from Uranus in ♊Gemini (genius, innovation, and originality) and even stronger support from Saturn in ♈Aries, suggesting this project may have longevity and become a cornerstone of your success. Neptune, orbiting next to Saturn, will send his gifts of imagination. This 🌑new moon will be quite special.
It will be a great time to plan—but not to act—during this 🌑new moon. Mercury, your ruler, will be retrograde from July 18 to August 10. If your project is communications oriented, it is best to avoid going public during Mercury retrograde. However, you are sometimes able to break the rules. At what will be a spectacular 🌕full moon next month on Saturday, August 9, that even though Mercury will still be retrograde, I am saying you can debut your venture then.
I know I am being controversial, but the August 9 🌕full moon will be a standout and will help you to succeed on so many levels. Normally, you might be tempted to wait for the 🌑new moon in ♍Virgo, which will arrive on August 22. However, I am not enthusiastic about that 🌑new moon. While it is true that Mercury will be fully direct by the time of that 🌑new moon on August 22, I would not choose to wait, not with Uranus tightly square (challenging) to the Sun and that 🌑new moon. I like August 9 and the days that closely follow this day much more—I see the August 9 🌕full moon as the best date of all. One day later, Mercury will turn direct. I would never take a chance going into a Mercury retrograde, but very soon after the August 9 🌕full moon Mercury will come out of it.
On another topic, Venus will enter ♊Gemini this month from July 4 to July 30. Venus will add to your charm and charisma and make you quite popular. It’s the ideal month to circulate and reconnect with friends.
Venus in ♊Gemini also makes this a perfect time to find ways to refresh your appearance. To put a finer point on this advice, do so well in advance of the date Mercury will go retrograde (July 18).
Before I go, I want to point out that Tuesday July 22 should be a fantastic day in your time line. By then, the Sun will have slipped into ♌Leo and will receive a gorgeous golden beam from Uranus (a sextile, meaning opportunity). You may take a spontaneous short trip that would work out really well.
But wait, July 22 is fabulous for other reasons. First, the transiting moon will be in ♋Cancer and will be tightly conjunct with good-fortune Jupiter. If you travel for business, or if you make an announcement on social media or through advertising (including direct mail), you could see quite a profit come in.
Additionally, Pluto will be in ideal, harmonious (trine) angle to Uranus in ♊Gemini (personified by YOU). Pluto is directing his energy from your ninth house, which covers distant travel, international relationships, import-export, publishing and broadcasting, legal concerns, and any matter having to do with your pursuit of an advanced degree. Saturn will reach out to the Sun, adding stability and long-term gain to your actions. Mercury will be retrograde, but you may be able to go back to an earlier matter (or to a person you used to know or worked with) and rekindle business. Just avoid signing papers.
It is also true that in the midst of this joyful planetary chatter, Pluto will oppose the Sun. Even so, you have such outstanding support, I feel you can gracefully handle any pressure you might feel from Pluto. He will simply be outnumbered at this time.
This will be a great month for you, dear ♊Gemini.
Now that Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, is in ♋Cancer and your second house of earned income for the first time in 12 years, your prospects for making good money are looking up in a big way. Last month you had a gorgeous 🌑new moon on June 25 that activated this same area of your chart and unlocked the financial rewards that are due to you.
As celebratory and rewarding as that 🌑new moon was and continues to be (it’s sure to open a new door to financial growth and opportunity), it did come with a warning—be disciplined and conservative in money management. Carefully vet the person who advises you. Continue to pay down your expenses, and within the coming weeks, set up a savings and investment plan to make sure some of the money you earn grows for you while you sleep. Seeing a financial advisor is a wise idea, and if you are more mature, seek out the names of estate planners to get all that done and out of the way.
As you enter July, making money and paying those you owe will still be on your mind. The 🌕full moon of July 10 in ♑Capricorn will motivate you to take care of a range of financial matters. Mars has been moving through your home and family sector and will also be supportive and friendly toward this 🌕full moon and the Sun. This suggests that much of your cash is currently being allocated to your living quarters or other property that you might hope to rent, own, renovate, redecorate, or sell. If not, you may be directing funds toward a family member who needs your financial support.
One earthshaking difference about July verses previous months is that Uranus, the planet of independence, individualism, idiosyncratic behavior, surprise, unanticipated events, and creativity (especially in math, high tech, and all the sciences) is now moving into ♊Gemini for a short preview, starting on July 7 until November 7.
Uranus will return to ♉Taurus for several months and then come back to ♊Gemini next year on April 25, 2026, to remain there uninterrupted until May 22, 2033, a period of seven years. Uranus takes 84 years to circle the Sun, so it’s been that long since Uranus has been in ♊Gemini (August 1941 to June 1949). Uranus takes the information gathered by Mercury and syntheses it into the realm of innovation or genius.
As a ♊Gemini, hosting Uranus in ♊your sign will motivate you to make moves that might surprise friends and family, but those moves may represent a wish you long promised yourself you would do someday—that day is soon to arrive. Additionally, you may change your appearance or your name, move to a foreign country, make a massive career switch, or have a baby on your own through IVF. These are some examples, and I am sure you can think of more.
Uranus in ♊Gemini will also have a strong effect on society, with many social and scientific changes and innovations due, especially in the realm of communications and transportation (not only with automobiles but also aviation and rail transport).
A quick trip may be on your mind at the 🌑new moon in ♌Leo on July 24 and the weeks that follow. If you are traveling to see pals, your getaway will be deliciously happy thanks to the friendly, direct beam this 🌑new moon will receive from Saturn and Neptune in your eleventh house of close friends, new acquaintances, and contacts. The days following this 🌑new moon would also be an ideal time to attend a convention or seminar and expand your knowledge of your industry and your contacts at the same time.
If you plan to travel at or after the July 24 🌑new moon to see a client in the hopes of formalizing an agreement on paper, you might find that this individual will be insistent that you include terms that you’ll find difficult to grant. In this case, it may not be the best time to have a face-to-face meeting. Wait until late August.
Here is another reason why waiting would be wise—Mercury will be retrograde from July 18 to August 10, so delays will work in your favor. For now, it might be best to use this 🌑new moon to go on an enjoyable social trip rather than one that would involve a business negotiation. After all, you deserve some fun—if you are offered the chance at the end of July, by all means, take it.
If you have something big and important to launch, take advantage of the near ideal 🌕full moon next month on Saturday August 9 in ♒Aquarius at 17 degrees. That will be a peach of a 🌕full moon and can even override the problems with Mercury retrograde.
