February will be largely about focusing on your financial picture. Some of your friends who are not ♑Capricorn may groan and say, “Really? Money management? Isn’t that a little boring? What about prospects for love, travel, or shopping?” You will just shake your head to your friends’ comments.
♑Capricorn is one of the zodiac’s savviest financial signs and most trustworthy, so you know all those fun things in life come only after you have taken care of your income, savings, and investments and have examined your profit. You might explain to your friends, “All of life’s pleasures will come in due time.” You know that what you do now will create the funds for the life you can enjoy later.
You might explain it this way: “When you have a garden, it is important to nurture your seedlings with water, warmth, sunlight, and the plant food your seedlings need to grow. I know I cannot turn my eyes away and forget about my garden, as it needs my attention. As the plants grow they need to be pruned. If I have done everything right, I can reap a bountiful harvest. Only after I have financial security for me and my family can I move on to explore ways to enjoy my wealth.”
As a ♑Capricorn you don’t get emotional about money—just the opposite. You remain practical and realistic yet, through observation, very smart, too. You stay cool and calm in a crisis, the reason ♑Capricorns often reach the highest levels of leadership in the world’s most respected multinational companies. The philosopher Plato, writing about the signs, called ♑Capricorn the “philosopher king,” and although ambitious and disciplined, ♑Capricorn also leads with kindness, always showing that they truly care for those in their employ.
You understand that money is simply stored energy—the tangible result of the combination of hard work and smart risk. You are willing to put in time and attention to the position you hold and do it with a strong sense of commitment, always aiming toward excellence. You are willing to keep an eye on your finances too, to make sure they are secure and, like the crops in your garden, continue to flourish under your care.
In astrology, it is wise to “nurture your crops” every six months. For you, February is your financial month, and August will be your next. I wrote about the important 🌕full moon February 1 in your January report, and have again here. Let’s focus deeply on the activities of this month.
February 1 hosted a 🌕full moon in ♌Leo at 13 degrees that lit your solar eighth house of other people’s money. This house rules bank loans and student loans, insurance premiums and payouts, scholarships and university financial aid. It rules venture capital, new mortgages, and refinanced mortgagees. This house also covers financial court and divorce settlements and child support. It rules prize winnings, inheritances, valuable gifts, tax payments, and tax refunds.
This particular 🌕full moon was surprising in its graceful helpfulness. There were no dark clouds in the sky—the aspects were loving and supportive, and financial news that you received in early February likely pleased you.
On February 1 the planets at this 🌕lunation were in exquisite harmony. This indicates it would be the ideal time to address financial matters. Rarely are the planets so friendly to one another and to you. I cannot see everything in your unique natal chart, but from what I can see, it certainly looks special.
When this 🌕full moon arrived, you may have had to write a check to people you owed. It is also possible you were able to crystalize a deal too, bringing you a hearty profit. Additionally, with so much emphasis on finances, it is possible you purchased something expensive that you’ve long dreamed about owning.
The eighth house rules generational wealth and inheritance too, so you may be finishing up estate planning in all of its forms and may also be revising your will. That’s always smart to do, to look over your will every few years as your lifestyle changes.
In the first week of February, the 🌕full moon may have given you the motivation to meet with your bookkeeper or accountant to get ready to file your tax return. While you are likely still focused on money, you may also call your broker or financial advisor to see how your investments performed last year in 2025. If your financial specialist feels changes are warranted, you likely will discuss the recommendations and agree upon your next steps.
A 🌕full moon is operative for four to five days, until the 🌕full moon wanes (and deflates). That means the 🌕full moon would deliver its news sometime within that five-day period—up to and through February 5.
Standing opposite the 🌕full moon in ♌Leo, 180 degrees away, a gaggle of migrating planets have been quietly moving through deep space settling in the constellation of ♒Aquarius and your second house of salary. Almost ballet like in their grace and silence, they moved into position. With the stage set, Pluto, Mars, Mercury, and Venus quietly await the arrival of the 🌑solar new moon eclipse in ♒Aquarius, 29 degrees, due February 17. The Sun will soon arrive with his partner the gentle 🌑moon, the stars of the show.
In the first two weeks of the month, you have half the number of heavenly bodies in the solar system moving through your financial houses. No wonder you are focused on money!
Meanwhile, on February 3, Uranus, the ruler of ♒Aquarius, turned direct, having been retrograde since September 5. That move to direct speed will strengthen Uranus, and this planet will remain direct for seven months and pick up the pace in regard to your financial matters.
As you draw closer to February 17, the date of the 🌑solar eclipse, Venus and Mercury will move on to ♓Pisces to begin their assignment there. Venus and Mercury had to leave, and they will have sent their regards to the Sun and 🌑new moon before making their exit. Pluto and Mars will stay behind to greet the 🌑solar eclipse and Sun in ♒Aquarius, 29 degrees, on February 17, to light your second house of earned income, personal outgo, and valuable possessions.
🌕Full moons (like the 🌕full moon of February 1) bring a culmination and closure. 🌑New moons (like the one that will appear on February 17) are just the opposite, for they are associated with fresh starts and new chapters. 🌑Eclipses then add another layer and are very powerful—they are like 🌑new and 🌕full moons on steroids. They usually mark important points in your timeline and are moments that you almost always remember years later.
I have noticed that for approximately 10 percent of the readers, an 🌑eclipse can be felt one month to the day earlier (that would have been January 17, in regard to the one coming up on February 17). For 15 percent of the readers, the 🌑eclipse would be felt one month to the day later, bringing you to March 17. Astrologers use bell curves in forecasting, the reason 🌑eclipses work this way. That leaves 75 percent of readers noticing the effects of the 🌑solar eclipse within approximately eight days after it arrives. In all cases, give a plus or minus one week for the 🌑eclipse to deliver its news—a longer time than a normal new (or full) moon would have.
The appearance of an 🌑eclipse often signals change. You may start to earn your income from a new source soon after an 🌑eclipse arrives. If you are self-employed, you may lose one good client but soon thereafter gain another. (The universe does not tolerate a vacuum, so it rushes to fill it.) An 🌑eclipse often “eclipses out” something related to the part of the chart where the 🌑eclipse appears. In the case this month, that points to how you make your living.
You might wonder if this 🌑eclipse on February 17 will be at all problematic. Yes, it might bring sudden, jarring news. The fact that news will be unexpected will make it harder to deal with. Uranus rules ♒Aquarius, the sign the 🌑eclipse will appear in, which makes Uranus’ presence more noticeable and gives his action a good deal more weight.
Here is the problem. At the time of the 🌑eclipse in ♒Aquarius, Uranus at 28 degrees in ♉Taurus will make a sharp, tight mathematical challenge to both the Sun and 🌑new moon in ♒Aquarius at 29 degrees. This is a 🌑solar eclipse, so the Sun takes precedence. The Sun is the ruler of your eighth house of other people’s money, also called the eighth house of joint resources. The “joint resource” could be one held between you and your credit card company. Or it may be the tax money you paid to the government. Shared resources could mean money shared by your and your spouse as another example. News will not likely be what you would want to hear.
Anything Uranus deems of no future value he will bolt away in the blink of an eye. Uranus is the planet of surprise, innovation, chaos, creativity, rebellion, idiosyncratic behavior, and independence. He can be a handful to deal with.
Here is an example of Uranus when he is not friendly (like at the February 17 🌑eclipse): You were promised an infusion of cash for your start-up business from a venture capitalist, but the money does not arrive on time. Worse, it may never be sent due to changing circumstances on the lender’s side. Again, this is just a hypothetical of what may occur.
Here is another example. You may learn you were approved for university financial aid, but the amount is much smaller than the sum you were granted last year—and you panic. In this case, write an appeal. Admittedly, it’s a long shot, but it might work if your reasoning is sound. Usually, the news of an 🌑eclipse is final and cannot be reversed. However, Mercury will be retrograde from February 25 to March 20, and decisions often can change during Mercury retrograde—in this case, hopefully in your favor. It would certainly be worth a try.
Uranus will be in ♉Taurus at 28 degree in your fifth house of true love (this would point to a person you are dating but not married to, as marriage is found in another part of the chart). The fifth house also rules children and your creative projects, either of which could come up as a topic of discussion.
On or near February 17, if you get news of a large expense that you never saw coming and do not have the money to cover it, see if you can work out a payment plan. If you are married, your spouse could have an idea for you—Jupiter, the benefic planet of luck, is in your marriage and partnership sector, and Jupiter will send Mercury, ruling quick, intellectual, logical thinking and communication, a golden beam. A partner in love or business is worth their weight in gold when they provide a key to a solution, and doubly so this mid-month.
Here’s one more possible (hypothetical) scenario. Let’s say you have been dating a person you really enjoy being with for three months (not long). You assumed that person was falling in love with you while you were also falling in love with them. One day (upon reflection, regrettably) you blurted out that you were about to come into a generous inheritance. In this hypothetical case, the 🌑eclipse comes by to show you the horrifying truth—that your partner actually has been more in love your impending inheritance than with you. This has to be devastating, and at first you won’t even want to believe it. Once you hear the truth you cannot unhear it. There is a certain urgency about most 🌑eclipses.
This is a financial 🌑eclipse, so do not loan or give money to a romantic partner under any circumstances. Don’t talk about your growing and profitable brokerage retirement account—keep personal things personal.
🌑Eclipses will always reveal what has been hidden by shining a floodlight of truth over the matter. It is better to know the truth than to hold on to an illusion, but admittedly, this is easier said than done. Truth can be painful to look at under the glare of daylight. You will be grateful to have the truth later, when in hindsight, you are able to trace the string of events you would have endured if you had been left in the dark. Knowing the truth is a blessing—the 🌑eclipse is trying to protect you.
An 🌑eclipse kicks up a lot of cosmic dust. It is hard to see the road ahead clearly. It’s better not to make a decision or an initiation—it will best to listen. Think about what you hear.
While it is not wise to INITIATE a plan at 🌑eclipse time, it is fine to REPSOND to someone else’s decision or plan at 🌑eclipse time. In that case, think things through, and decide how best to respond. You may be pressured by someone to hurry up and give your answer. All 🌑eclipses have a sense of urgency about them, but don’t let anyone make you step to their timetable. Breathe. Think and respond at your own pace.
Here’s an example to show you why you should not make snap decisions at 🌑eclipse time (for you won’t have all the information yet). Let’s say you have an employee who has frequently been coming into work late and has not turned out polished work during the past six weeks. This is not like her, but you figure she no longer likes or cares about her job anymore. You are feeling impulsive and want to fire her. Don’t.
Remember the rule: Do not initiate an action at 🌑eclipse time, for later you are likely to regret your actions. Wait a bit for the 🌑eclipse to reveal you its “second act” when additional information will surface. That new clarity will typically surface two to four weeks after the 🌑eclipse.
Following along on my random hypothetical example, let’s say at the same time, at work you encounter a crisis with your computer. Your usual IT person is not available, and you need help quickly. Lo and behold, you discover the person who you almost fired is actually quite savvy and competent with computer problems, something she never mentioned because it was not part of the job description. You find out that she was taking classes in cyber security. You cannot believe your luck—and she works for you!
She stayed cool and collected and saves the day. You came away with a new appreciation of her. You also discover that her mother has been in the hospital with a serious condition, the reason she’s been understandably distracted.
I have found that most people have hidden talents that they never mention. Either they underrate them or assume others would not be interested in those talents. I find it exciting to discover those hidden talents.
I know I offered you an unlikely hypothetical example, but I had to make the story dramatic enough to demonstrate my point. As you see, there are all kinds of realities that surface at 🌑eclipse time, and some provide information you will be grateful to know.
February may be a short month of only 28 days, but those days are surely packed with plenty of news. Something monumental is happening in your fourth house, ruling your family, home, or other property you may own, rent, or want to sell. Saturn, the teacher planet that works to bring out your inner strength, will move into ♈Aries and this home and family sector of your chart on February 13.
Saturn helps us think about the passage of time and also about building security for the road ahead. This new influence might be to own a house or condo or renovate part or all of the property you are living in now. Saturn helps us set up the sturdy pillars of our lives. You may want to buy property as an investment to create passive income from tenants. Under Saturn’s gaze, all choices have to be grounded in practicality.
If you are selling property, seek the advice of your broker when you price it, for the last thing you need is to have the property listed on the market a long time, which is an instant message to buyers that the price is likely to drop soon.
Now that Saturn is in your solar fourth house, finding new property that you may want to rent or buy will take time. Saturn will slow the process. You may find that available properties generally are too small, lacking in sunlight, and in need of too many expensive repairs to be viable. Take your time.
If you are moving into a new region, visit the town at different times of the day to judge traffic nearby and to get an overall feel of the neighborhood. Barbara Corcoran, from the TV program Shark Tank, and who is a highly successful real estate mogul, suggests you have breakfast in a local diner one morning and ask people sitting near you at the counter about life in the area you hope to live.
Ask about floods, other water damage, or unusually severe difficulty with snow or ice. When you examine the home, make sure it has no mold, that the drinking water is sufficient and pure, and that you would have no problems getting enough hot water.
Saturn has moved into your home sector and so has Neptune, the planet that rules all bodies of water. This is why I am flagging water as a possible concern—Neptune will remain in your home sector until March 23, 2039.
If Neptune is occasionally hit with a difficult aspect as it travels around the Sun, you could have concerns about water. For example, knowing if the town has a history of battling hurricanes may prompt you to think twice. There might be a body of water that floods or a mountain that could produce mud slides. Information like that could change your mind. Neptune can confuse or obfuscate information, the reason you need a lawyer and broker to advocate for you and why you need to ask a lot of questions, too.
Neptune and Saturn will settle into fire sign ♈Aries. Is the house built with flame-proof materials? Does the region experience regular wild fires? You may feel the dream home you want nevertheless proves to be a favorable purchase after answering these types of questions. The point is, with both Saturn and Neptune moving into your home sector, it would be worth thinking about all the various hypothetical problems and contingencies.
Neptune arrived in ♈Aries last month on January 26 and will remain in your home and family sector 14 years. Saturn will enter ♈Aries on February 13, to stay just over two years, until April 12, 2028.
If you like your home as it is, you might, instead, focus on helping your parent, either your mother or father, to be sure they are well cared for throughout the coming two-year period that Saturn will remain in your house of home and family.
For example you may search for an aid so that your mom or dad can remain at home rather than find an assisted living center. When my sister and I attended to Little Mom, we were plunged into a subculture we knew nothing about—but quickly learned. It is amazing how fast you can pick up all you need to know when the comfort and happiness of a your beloved mother is at stake. (I used to call my mother “Little Mom,” an affectionate term, because she was small in stature, but she was large in life—always so cheerful, optimistic, and compassionate—everyone who met her instantly loved her. Her impact on me was enormous.)
Valentine’s Day falls this month too, and lucky you, the transiting 🌑moon will be in ♑Capricorn, making that day special for you.
Also, a few days before on February 10, Venus will move to ♓Pisces, a lovely sign for Venus to be to encourage fun and love for you. In fact, you and your sweetheart may decide to take a little private getaway into the country where you can devote your full attention to one another. Venus is referred to as being “exalted” when in ♓Pisces—it is the sign where Venus can best express her most loving qualities. Indeed, Cupid will be standing by, so whether you’re married or single, Cupid is ready to send out his little fleet of cherubs to shower you with rose petals on this enchanting evening.
With so much news, you might assume I have nothing left to tell youth—but I do!
As you get close to the end of February, you may start to feel the pull of the 🌕full moon eclipse in ♍Virgo at 13 degrees coming on March 3. This 🌕full moon might bring you in contact with people based in an international setting. This 🌕lunar eclipse will light your ninth house, so you might travel for business or pleasure, which would be a great idea. Being in a different city would refresh you after having had such a busy month.
The March 3 🌕full moon eclipse may bring positive news concerning one of several areas—you may get good news from the courts concerning a legal action you may have taken. You might have been waiting for progress with an immigration matter, and that may happen within a week of March 3. If you are working toward earning a university degree, this 🌕eclipse could bring heartening progress. Do you work in the media? You will see news there, too.
You will especially notice the affect to this 🌕eclipse if your birthday falls on January 3, plus or minus five days. The same is true if you have ♑Capricorn rising or your natal moon in ♑Capricorn at 13 degrees, plus or minus five degrees. Have a look at your chart—if you have a natal planet at 13 degrees, plus or minus five degrees, in ♉Taurus, ♍Virgo, ♑Capricorn, ♋Cancer, ♏Scorpio, or ♓Pisces, that planet will light up and be your best buddy.
Wow, ♑Capricorn—what an action-packed month!
You like to keep your finances shipshape, the reason you’ll be so focused on money matters through most of February. The 🌕full moon in ♌Leo on February 1 put a big emphasis on paying bills. You may have gathered together all your information to give your accountant to file your year-end taxes. In fact, you are so committed to organizing money matters, you may be finished by the time you reach month’s end.
If you are dividing assets at the end of a business or marriage, this 🌕full moon may have marked the moment you signed the final agreement, assuming you had been discussing this matter for some time leading to this month.
Alternatively, if you need to send in tuition for your schooling or that of your child, that check will likely go out early in the month. If you are happily married, your spouse seems to want to help you make that payment and may contribute all or part of what is due. The February 1 🌕full moon was friendly, and you seem to have planned for this moment by putting aside the necessary money.
You could have benefitted from other actions at this 🌕full moon. You could have refined your will and done estate planning, if you have not yet done so, or you might have looked into becoming pre-approved for a mortgage if you are hoping to buy a condo or house soon.
On February 13 Saturn will make its historic move into ♈Aries for a two-year stay. The last time Saturn made a sustained stay in ♈Aries was from April 1996 to February 1999. During the coming two years you may notice a yearning for greater residential stability, the reason that you might decide to save for a home of your own.
If you already have a home, you may decide to spend money on a remodeling project or acquire a vacation home or an investment property that tenants would rent. You may or may not feel this pull toward real estate immediately, but you will eventually, thanks to Saturn’s move into ♈Aries. Watch April and the end of September in particular for this theme to come up. You may also step up to care for an older relative in the coming months.
The 🌑new moon solar eclipse in ♒Aquarius at 29 degrees on February 17 has Uranus (ruler of ♒Aquarius) in a harsh angle to the Sun and 🌑new moon. This may bring up a sudden expense you’ll need to make for your child, an upcoming social event, or vacation (you might have sticker shock from everything you bought). You won’t see this coming, and you may feel sidelined temporarily by this news until you can think of ways you can rebalance your budget again. The odds are with you that you can do this. Jupiter will be beautifully aspected to transiting Mercury, so work will proceed well, and if self-employed or in sales, a new client may come in to bring in extra cash.
Where the 🌕full moon of February 1 may have asked you to send money out to pay others, the 🌑new moon solar eclipse in ♒Aquarius of February 17 could easily bring you a chance to earn more money. And being the wise money manager you are known to be, dear ♑Capricorn, soon you will see money flow in. It appears you will find a way to boost your income and have extra left over to keep for yourself to do with as you please. Don’t let the unexpected expense rattle you too much.
Mercury will go retrograde from February 25 to March 20, so get all of your most vital actions done early in February.
As you get closer to the end of the month, you are coming up on a 🌕full moon lunar eclipse, due March 3 in ♍Virgo, a sign that blends beautifully with ♑yours. It will be a fairly friendly 🌕eclipse, so get your suitcase out and start packing—you will be able to spin your compass and travel to a new setting that will refresh your mind, body, and spirit.
You may have been working hard in January and dealing with at least one financial situation at the end of December or at the start of January. February will be much more to your liking. The possibility for travel is an option for you. In fact, travel is written all over your chart. As an air sign, and symbolized by the ♊Twins flying together over the heavens, travel is a favorite activity of yours. There will be other opportunities opening up for you, too. Let’s take a closer look.
The two houses that are lit up brilliantly for you this month, your third and ninth houses, are basically intellectual houses dealing with concepts and ideas (as well as travel), and these are the very areas that you feel most comfortable working within.
The first house to be lit is your third house. It happened the moment you began February, and you may have taken a short trip (January 31 to February 1), which would have given you a needed break. On February 1, you were greeted by a 🌕full moon in the luxury sign of ♌Leo, lighting your third house of travel and communication.
You could have taken a quick trip to a pampering resort for a long weekend (if you could take a little vacation time), or you might have opted to stay at home base so that you could sign a contract with a key client or to lock down an important opportunity, such as to rent a dream apartment or sell or option your book to a Hollywood movie studio.
The third house is the house naturally “owned” by ♊Gemini because it covers communication in all its forms, a talent you are known not only to possess but are one of the few signs that can raise your communicating ability to an entirely new level. I feel most of this month you will be heavily involved with writing, editing, researching, translating, coding, or public speaking. You may be writing a book, screenplay, or your company’s annual report. You may be designated company spokesperson, appear on TV as a guest to speak about a recent triumph, or voice an opinion as an expert on a certain topic you have specialized in.
You may be designing and writing for a new website, readying a new smartphone app for the market, writing a description for a new digital game that will appear in the Apple App Store, coming out with new software, or announcing a new podcast series. You may be working on a public relations project or an advertising campaign, writing a speech, or if you are in sales, busy dialing for dollars.
If you are a ♊Gemini born on June 3 (plus or minus five days), have ♊Gemini rising at 13 degrees (plus or minus five degrees), or have your natal 🌕moon at 13 degrees with the same mathematical tolerance, you would also have benefited from the 🌕full moon. If you have a natal planet in ♊Gemini, ♎Libra, ♒Aquarius, ♈Aries, ♌Leo, or ♐Sagittarius at 13 degrees, plus or minus five degrees, that particular planet would have helped you quite a bit.
Furthermore, Pluto in ♒Aquarius (at 4 degrees) will help those born within five days of May 25, and Mars (at 10 degrees ♒Aquarius) will help those born May 31. These two planets, Pluto and Mars, are in early degrees of ♒Aquarius, favoring those born May 25-31 (plus or minus five days), so ♊Gemini readers with these birthdays will do well all month.
I wrote about the 🌕full moon of February 1 in your January report last month, so you may already know what I just told you. But it’s always good to review what is, was, and will be happening in the heavens.
Moving on to the 🌑new moon solar eclipse on February 17 in ♒Aquarius, 29 degrees, you may be thinking about cementing an international relationship. If, for example, you want to write for a magazine in a country other than your own or have your book translated into other languages, this 🌑new moon solar eclipse of February 17 would be the time when your wish may come true. You can help things along by sending out query letters. If you want to start an import-export company, this 🌑eclipse may set the wheels in motion.
The ninth house, where the February 17 🌑eclipse is based in your chart, rules other parts of life besides publishing. If you are a producer, you may be starting work on an important TV show or movie or getting the green light to begin work on a documentary.
The ninth house also rules higher education and all the steps you take to earn your degree. You may hear from the colleges you applied to about admittance this month, or you may take a major qualifying test.
Debates that takes place in the courts are covered by the ninth house, so if you have a case pending, you may receive a final verdict.
If you are hoping to get a visa, residency card, citizenship, or passport from another country and have been waiting, you may get news now.
This 🌑eclipse is speaking in confusing, puzzling ways. At February 17 there will be a plethora of planets in ♒Aquarius, an air-sign that blends beautifully with your air-sign ♊Gemini Sun. Those planets will support you fully. The heavenly bodies moving in ♒Aquarius are the 🌑new moon, Sun, Mars, and Pluto.
The fact that Mars is traveling with the Sun and 🌑new moon eclipse is important—Mars’ presence here shows that your motivation to get your ninth house ambition realized will be strong and sustained, for you will go to the mat to see your goal through to victory. (I listed the topics covered by the ninth house above, and one or two may strike a chord in you.)
The problem is that the Sun and 🌑new moon solar eclipse will both be at 29 degrees ♒Aquarius, while unpredictable Uranus will be in the wrong place at the wrong time at 28 degrees ♉Taurus and send a harsh “square” beam to them both that will upset your best laid plans. A square will always set up an obstacle, and it could be jarring. The universe will give you no time to deliberate about what to do. You will need to quickly think on your feet—that’s the point.
If your book is being made into a movie, the studio may want to change the ending, and you may feel strongly that is not the way to go. I am just giving you an example to get you thinking, as I cannot see your unique chart from where I sit. You may have mitigating factors in your chart that would make this 🌑eclipse better for you.
The additional challenge is that the hard square of Uranus to the 🌑new moon is likely to result in an unexpected expense or change in the amount of money you assumed you’d receive.
You won’t see the obstacle coming, which is the worst part of Uranus aspects—they always seem to come out of the wild blue yonder. Uranus always speaks from a place you would not in a million years have considered possible. That makes it hard to prepare. The truth is you can’t prepare—the universe is testing your ability to think on your feet, for that is the basic job of Uranus. Simply keep your schedule light so you have the time to devote to what is coming up.
I feel the people best able to deal with this square will be those whose mathematical aspects match with the 🌑eclipse’s 29 degrees of ♊Gemini—those born June 20, minus five days. It will also help those who have ♊Gemini rising at 29 degrees, minus five degrees.
The challenge to the Aquarius Sun by Uranus will likely make a contractual matter hard (but not impossible ) to untangle. It could require rewriting part of the contract. Or it may be that your publisher (or producer) will ask you to shape a certain character in your book (or movie) differently (just when you thought you were finished).
There is other big news. Uranus has been retrograding since September 7, 2025, but Uranus turned direct this month on February 3. Projects will have begun to move forward within one or two days—consider what happened and to the discussions and opportunities that came up in your own life on or near February 3 to 5.
In that regard, if you have been waiting for an answer on a key question in your life, it may have come at that time quite suddenly. Additionally, if you have a prominent Uranus in your natal chart, such as Uranus on the ascendant (rising) or at a key point, like in the fourth, seventh, or tenth house, you may have felt this trend a more strongly.
Secondly, now that Uranus is moving forward, he is barreling toward his entry into ♊Gemini, which will happen in just two months on April 25. Uranus has not been in ♊Gemini since August 1941 until September 1948, so this is big news. Uranus did give us a preview last year from July 7, 2025, to November 7, 2025, of what is to come. That was just a short visit, for Uranus had to head back to ♉Taurus. Now Uranus is coming back to ♊Gemini to stay for seven years—until May 2033!
As a ♊Gemini you will likely find Uranus in ♊Gemini puts you in the center of all that is new and happening. Sometimes it will feel like a rollercoaster ride with crazy changes, but other times it can bring a stroke of luck like none other. You are one of the most flexible and adaptable of all zodiac signs—you will do well with this placement. Uranus in ♊Gemini can make you quite famous too, especially for your innovative and non-traditional ideas.
Uranus is the planet known to bring surprise, revelation, idiosyncratic and untraditional behavior, innovation, and even genius. For now, in February, Uranus will still be touring at 28 degrees of ♉Taurus. That is why Uranus can bring problems to the February 17 🌑eclipse in ♒Aquarius 29 degrees—specifically in the area of your career (or home and family—180 degrees away).
In between the 🌕full moon of February 1 and the 🌑new moon solar eclipse on February 17, February holds Valentine’s Day on Saturday, February 14, so you may be looking forward to celebrate that special day for lovers.
Although the transiting 🌕moon on Valentine’s Day will be in ♑Capricorn, not a terribly special place for you to have the 🌕moon, what you do have going for you is sexy Mars in ♒Aquarius during Valentine’s Day, a divinely compatible place for Mars to be. Having Mars there will certainly add to your confidence, magnetism, and charisma. The Sun and Pluto will also be in ♒Aquarius, adding even more support. That’s strong enough planetary clout to give those who are attached a memorable, special evening to enjoy.
Single? Spend the evening having dinner with a large group of friends, and see how many of you can recommend someone special for those present to date.
I need to urge you to get as much finished early in the month as possible, avoiding acting on the 🌑eclipse, which always kicks up a lot of dust. (It’s hard to see the road ahead near an 🌑eclipse.)
More importantly, your ruling planet Mercury will retrograde from February 25 to March 20 in ♓Pisces. It will affect you mainly in terms of professional projects.
This may be a short month, but it sure is packed with activity! Here is more monumental news.
Saturn will leave ♓Pisces this month on February 13, a day you may have been unconsciously hoping would come as soon possible. Saturn is the teacher-taskmaster planet that’s been taking up residence in your tenth house of prestigious career advancement and reputation since March 7, 2023. You are finally finishing up your course of study with Saturn, and Saturn will not be back to this part of your chart until April 2052.
The past two years may have seemed difficult when it came to making progress in your career. You had a lot to learn. Saturn will now release you from his limitations, and you will find your ability to make progress will pick up at a faster pace
Here is an important point to note: Sometimes a planet will bounce its energy straight across the sky, 180 degrees away, to the house opposite the one it’s in. If this was true for you, Saturn would have given you challenges regarding your home or a family situation. No matter, that is all about change and improve now that Saturn is leaving ♓Pisces on February 13.
Just be mindful of your ruler Mercury going retrograde, and do not buy any electronics or expensive items, like furniture, from February 25 to March 20. Sign no contracts during this period either. Keep as much distance from both the start and end dates of the retrograde. That way you can avoid much of Mercury’ static as it gets ready to change direction.
Now let’s turn to the coming 🌕lunar full moon eclipse on March 3 in ♍Virgo, 13 degrees. That 🌕eclipse, ironically, will highlight your home, other property, and family matters. Happily, Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will send a golden beam to the 🌕full moon and to the Sun at 🌕eclipse time. This 🌕eclipse will help to boost your career, too. By early March, planets will have gathered in ♓Pisces in your tenth house of professional honors, awards, and achievements in anticipation of a glorious 🌑new moon later in the month. What matters is that for the first time Saturn is no longer throwing up in this house. Glory hallelujah! Saturn is known to leave a gift by the door upon his departure. I feel you will see that gift later in March or in April.
You will now have an opportunity to advance, and something you did in the past to get ahead may now bring exciting news.
You may start to see a solid increase in salary (or other fees) as Jupiter is still in your income sector (second house), set to stay until June 30. Jupiter will work hard for you. If you have not yet seen the bountiful harvest Jupiter is capable of bringing you, it may be because Jupiter has been retrograding since November 11. Jupiter will turn direct next month on March 10, at which time you will notice the difference.
In the meantime, this 🌕eclipse on March 3 is falling in your home sector and is very friendly. If you are looking for a new place to live, making changes in your living quarters, or considering buying, leasing, or selling property, this 🌕eclipse may make it happen. You can make your home more inviting and beautiful, too. You will love what’s coming.
In February it’s time to sprout your wings and fly—near and far—dear ♊Gemini. If you have any say over how things go, you’ll be out of the house all month.
The 🌕full moon of February 1 may have found you traveling to a nearby spot that’s pretty with luxurious accommodations. It would have been a sure way to brighten your routine. The trip may have been spontaneous, for only two days later, February 3, Uranus, the planet of surprise and impulse, went direct, having been retrograde since September 5.
This same house is the area where deals are made and both parties sign on the dotted line, so you may have finished up one and shook hands with your client. The 🌕moon links to your financial second house, so any deal you made in the first days of February should be a lucrative one.
Writing, editing, and speaking, along with all the communication arts, are areas ruled by the third house, the place in your chart of the 🌕full moon February 1, so you may have debuted your new podcast series or website redesign, finished book or screenplay manuscript, or presented a new app or game you want to bring to the market. Your timing would have been good if you did so early in February.
Mercury, which rules communication and travel (and is your ruling planet) will go retrograde February 25 until March 20, so you need to avoid acting on (or near) those start and end dates if you have a product you want to introduce, like some of those named here.
On February 13, Saturn will exit your tenth house of career advancement, so the pressure to perform and the roadblocks to success should fall away. You’ve had two years of Saturn’ tutoring (since March 2023), and you will not host Saturn in ♓Pisces again until 2052. You have graduated!
Your appetite to travel won’t be sated yet, however, for you’ll have an even bigger yen to travel overseas. On the 🌑new moon solar eclipse in ♒Aquarius on February 17, a crowd of heavenly bodies—the Sun, 🌑new moon, Mars, and Pluto, all in supremely compatible air-sign ♒Aquarius in your ninth house of global travel—will be acting like encouraging little relatives to get you to go.
There could be problems as you travel because unpredictable Uranus will clash with the Sun and 🌑new moon. Double-check all accommodations and appointments before you go, and if you are traveling to an important event, plan to arrive a day or two early to allow for delays.
Saturday, February 14, is Valentine’s Day—that special day for lovers in most of the world—and although the 🌕moon won’t be especially favorable to you, amorous Mars will be in highly compatible ♒Aquarius, along with the Sun and Pluto, giving you a boost of confidence, magnetism, and charisma. And if you’re single, it could be a fun evening by gathering your friends together and talking about who each one of you could date.
As you get to month’s end, you will need to be home as a 🌕full moon lunar eclipse on March 3 in ♍Virgo is due at 13 degrees. An 🌕eclipse usually spells change, but this time could be a welcome change. This 🌕eclipse might bring you a new living space, a new piece of furniture, or a new roommate (or news that one is moving out, giving you more space for yourself), as three possible examples. Keep an eye on family, as your mother or father may need your assistance—or have good news to share.
Jupiter is shining on the Sun and coming 🌕lunar full moon eclipse on March 3, so you may hear good news at work that more money will be on the way to you. Your career will bring a lot of exciting news next month, so get ready!
